Mission
The Paso del Norte Health Foundation promotes health and prevents disease in the region through leadership in health education, research, and advocacy.
History
The Paso del Norte Health Foundation is one of the largest private foundations on the United States-Mexico border. It was established in 1995 from the sale of
Providence Memorial Hospital. The Foundation's goal was to continue the work begun by Providence Memorial Hospital to improve the health and
wellness of the 2.3 million people living in the Paso del Norte Region through education and prevention.
