A consortium of foundations, nonprofit organizations and community leaders are thrilled to announce the launch of El Paso’s first Giving Day, give-EP – a 24-hour online, charitable giving drive designed to ignite the spirit of giving across the region to support causes in the community where we live, work and play.
El Paso is joining a nationwide trend in promoting local philanthropy through a community Giving Day. The inaugural give-EP will take place on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. The initiative’s goals are to promote philanthropy in the community, attract new and younger donors, and increase the capacity of nonprofits to engage donors and raise money using various social media and online tools.
Nonprofits can create a free profile at give-EP.org. Deadline for registration is September 20, 2016.
